To fly  It was always a dream for man, many efforts were destined to fulfill this reality that invades the skies now, that new techniques continue to be developed to address the  space  aerial.

The  airplane  It was the result of a self-absorbed competition to show off the greatest feat of all time, the first thing that those who presented these prototypes did, was to call the press and appear on the front pages of the newspapers.

And as we mentioned at the beginning, man has always looked for a way to cross the skies, a fact that since prehistory has accompanied us with the simple observation of birds and the desire to be like them.

Ancient civilizations, account for flying ships, devices that cross the skies and that rise on the horizon, all these abilities were exemplified in their Gods, always linked to superior space.

All this desire was linked to give rise to proposals and serious inventions that began to be the first prototypes of aviation.

And from prehistoric times we will make the leap to the 19th century, where the construction of the  airships  that they were conducted under the same principle of the boats. The first models tried to imitate the flight of birds, a very clever decision, since they had the living example or the most significant clue of how a living being could fly.

Inventor of the airplane

Let's go to the subject and say the names of the inventors, because credit is not given to just one, it was the brothers  Wright, Wilbur and Oliver, who developed the first airplane in the early 20th century, we refer to the first  airplane  Functional, which flew on December 17, 1903, was called the Flyer. In Kitty Hawk, Carolina del Note, the first flight took place.

But not everything is thanks to  brothers  Wright, you have to dig deep before them.

Leonardo da Vinci  appears in this story, since the first design of  airplane  that is known is a drawing of him in the fifteenth century, but there is no evidence that he has taken off.

The foundations of aerodynamics were laid by Sir George Cayley, designing a  airplane  capable of flying and sustaining itself and several of these prototypes have been known since 1803, until a glider with the capacity to carry passengers in 1853, but it was still not an airplane.

From here on, improvements and more realistic designs begin to be produced.

What year did the first plane fly?

The French Clément Ader designed and created the first airplane. He also helped advance telecommunication by installing the first telephone line in Europe in 1880.

Returning to Europe, but in 1906, on October 23, the Brazilian  Alberto Santos Dumont, performs a circuit under the supervision of specialists, journalists and witnesses. It moved 60 meters to a height of 3 meters from the ground on the 14-Bis, on the outskirts of Paris.

That achievement made him the first person to fly in a  airplane  self-propelled.

And the  Wright brothers? They had done it 3 years before, but their Kitty Hawk prototype could not take off under its own power, it had to be catapulted until the end of 1908, so its achievement was discredited since the  airplane  it was not "totally controlled."

Even so, the above does not detract from the  Wright brothers, who through their own merits, support, and continued experimentation, managed to lay many of the foundations for the  modern aircraft, which may have taken years to develop, which was obtained through wars.

In the  First World War  the  airplane  It was a strategic necessity, it could cross enemy lines, spy on opponents, photograph rivals, have information on their bases and also face ground targets with bombs or other planes that were shot with hand weapons.

After the war, propellers were tested on airplanes, in 1930 Frank Whittle patented the first development of a turbine engine with a centrifugal compressor. Hans Von Ohain, patented his axial turbine compressor engines, made his first flight mounted on a HE-178 Heinkel on August 27, 1939, thus achieving the  first  flight  to the reaction of history.

The Second World War

All the powers already had planes, bombers and reconnaissance planes. In the United States, an exclusive area is even built and prepared for the research and development of  planes  in secret, the known  Area 51 .

The Israeli Air Force was created in 1948, one of the most prestigious of all time. In addition to implementing air routes for commercial flights that began to operate continental flights.
